Feeling Stuck in a Rut

Pulling out of a rut can take enormous energy and motivation, but many times a little help is all that is required to get us un-stuck.

In many cases becoming stuck is brought on by a lack of faith in ourselves — the questioning of the quality of our decisions. A prime contributor to this can be our past success. This is the problem of being “overexperienced” — our experience may tell us us many future paths are simply not possible, when in reality they are. We procrastinate, we ignore, and the problem is further compounded by the problem of inertia. Going from 0 to 1, from full stop to some motion, is in some cases more difficult than speeding up from 2 to 10 — full speed. With help — and sometimes not that much — just a little push not only can you become unstuck but quickly move to full speed ahead!
